Wow! I can’t believe I haven’t posted in more than 2 months. I am, however, very faithful to my ACWW and I play every single day to take care of my hybrids, get new characters (and their picture), and complete my catalog. I also can’t believe I’ve been playing ACWW for over a year now!

So, what’s new in Humming? Not much… But I got all the Snowman set in Winter, and I have tons of townies pictures which have allowed me to get almost 310,000 points from the Happy Room Academy. My museum is almost complete… the only fish I need is, of course, the coealacanth.

I’ve been making a lot of money, and last night I donated about 2,000,000 Bells to my friend who was really excited. I love helping people, but I always ask if they prefer to play the game like it is.

I finally nailed a perfect snowman. Not that I have been trying too much, but I was able to get only a couple of items before. But I think I managed to get the principle of building him. Let’s see what I get tomorrow in the mail.

New Year’s Update

I wish I was as passionate about this weblog as I am about playing ACWW. Since there is so little left for me to get in the game, I don’t post as often. I still play every day, and I just spent about one hour catching up with my town because I had a very busy week and couldn’t touch my DS.

All my townies are happy, I just accepted Tank’s song as the new town tune, and I got my biggest HRA score ever. I suppose it’s going down tomorrow because I took off the Big Festive Tree. Still working on completing my catalog, and making Mr. Snowman give me more items from his set. And of course, I won’t be satisfied until I catch the elusive coealacanth.

Cranky and Frosty

So, snow in Humming! This is exciting. I haven’t posted in a while, I know. But I play every single day. And now there is a reason to be excited, for I can make snowmen and hopefully get the Snowman set items. I’m not being very successful, though.

My first attempt to roll that snowball and make a Frosty was a disaster. He’s depressed, and he just wants Spring to come and melt him. Here’s a screenshot:

My second attempt (today) wasn’t a complete failure, he’s kind of cheerful, but certainly not the one who’s going to pass me items. He wants a lady companion… Hah!

I guess I’ll keep trying.

My Mush Room

Successful Acorn Festival. I managed to get all the items for the Mush set (wallpaper and carpet included). It gave me lots of points for the HRA.

Acorn Confession

Since my current goal is completing my catalog, the Acorn Festival is quite attractive for I can get items from the Mush set. And this morning I woke up very excited to play and *GASPS* I remembered all I have in my town are fruit trees. Uh-huh! Bad move, no trees to get acorns from. So I played in my other town, got enough acorns, and a bunch of Mush items.

This is a truly sad confession: I had absolutely NO idea that I just had to bury 100 Bells to get a new non-fruit tree. Yes, me… The one who’s been playing ACWW since late February. I thought I had to buy the little trees at Nook’s, and I was thinking “There is no way I will be able to get enough trees by the end of the week.” Very sad, indeed. But what are message boards for? Learning!

I just planted a bunch of trees around. I’ll see which ones will make it tomorrow, and I will wait for a couple of days for acorns to appear. Meanwhile I will be getting them from the other town.

Bells & Acorns

Wow! I can’t believe the last time I posted was on September 16th. I play every single day, I dig fossils, take care of weeds, fish, talk to my animals, get photos. But since it all has become quite monotonous, I don’t post every day.

Yesterday’s Flea Market was another success for me; I made 735,000 Bells and now my savings account is up to 15,000,000. I seriously don’t know why I keep putting money in the “bank” – I could be helping other people, but I don’t have time to get on WiFi these days. I thought things were going to get easier after Summer, but looks like Fall is going to be even busier.

The Acorn Festival is starting tomorrow, and I’m looking forward to it. Something new to work on, and more items for my catalog. I suppose I will be posting about it.

New Green!

Am I the only one who’s seeing a different shade of green on trees today? Maybe not. Same thing happened with the grass when Summer started. And Fall is around the corner, so maybe that is why trees look lovely.

The Elusive Coelacanth

No, I have not caught it yet. But I will, hopefully tonight… It has got to happen already! It’s been raining (storming) all day long, and I don’t think it’s going to stop any time soon. It’s late at night, that fish has to show up… Seriously! I’m ready to get it.

Update: So much for my bravery. I didn’t get anything. But I will!

Required Update

I feel kind of sad that I am not posting about ACWW as often as before. But the game has gotten slow for me since I got the big house, and all the Bells, and the catalog is getting bigger every day. My museum is almost complete, as well. I’ve thought about just starting all over again, but there are still things I have to do in Humming.

However, there have been some milestones recently that I forgot to talk about:
- I finally caught the scorpion. Eeek!
- I got pics from Tom Nook and Pascal on the trading system.
- I have all the bugs and fish for the month of September.

Looking forward to see the Fall season on the game, since I started playing in February and I haven’t seen the colours yet. Can’t wait for the Acorn festival, and then Winter. I love it all.
